Pam Simon
Pam is the star of Maureen's first training video. She had a long and successful career in talk radio before making the switch to telephone sourcing.

The Animal handles the control room and makes snide remarks.

Show Format

1. Maureen and Pam will take questions from callers about Telephone Sourcing.

2. Anyone is free to call. You don't need to give your name so there is no need to feel shy. No one will know who you are.

3. The show goes from 12:30 pm until 1:00 every other Wednesday on the second half of The Recruiting Animal Show.

4. The Animal will interview someone from the recruiting field between noon and 12:30. You can listen or call in for his show if you like or merely tune in at 12:30.

5. The Animal is an animal. Maureen and Pam, however, are very gentle and nurturing. So you're sure to feel good whether you listen or call to talk.

Listening Tips

Adjust The Volume
There are two ways to adjust the volume.

a. When you click through to the audio for the show, you will see a little picture of a megaphone-style speaker on the audio player. If you click on this, you will get a drop down box that allows you to adjust the volume.

b. Click on Start in the lower left hand corner of your computer, then click on Control Panel. You will see a icons representing parts of your computer. Click on the picture of a speaker and you will be able to adjust the volume of the sound on your computer. You might also be able to access this icon in the SysTray in the lower right hand corner of your screen.

Fast Forward The Show.
On the player, you can see a blue line moving from left to right that shows the time elapsed on the show. Put your cursor at the front of the line, left click, hold the mouse down and drag the column forward.

Download The Show
If you go to the archive of shows, on each show, you will see a PLAY button and a DOWNLOAD button. You can click on Download to save the show to your own computer and then listen to it when you will on any media player like Winamp or Windows Media Player.

You can also subscribe to the shows by inserting the RSS code into your free iTunes account. If you don't know what RSS is or iTunes, don't do it.
